After killing Cho'gall last week we thought we might give our first heroic a spin... and we won. Took us a couple of pulls but the heroic version of Halfus was downed. Tough fight for the healers & tanks in the first minute or two! Its a nice heroic to do on the way to killing Cho'gall; getting heroic level Chest items and some other BIS gear. We also got the achievement "The Only Escape" at the same time.
Some other notable events this week include guild level 11 and buying the 7th bank tab. We probably don't need it but we are nice and cashed up at the moment so I thought what the heck!
This coming week we start our work on Nefarian. There is a big gap between our last raid and our next one. Use the time to become intimately familiar with the Nef fight so we can shave off some of that learning time. Should be an interesting fight!
