After many painful wipes he finally died. Very happy to get him prior to the patch were he will be significantly nerfed. Congratulations to everyone for your hardwork, persistence and enthusiasm for progression!!
It seemed like we were "up to Nef" for a long time. In reality it wasn't that long, particularly for a guild that only raids once a week. After we got past the early recruiting issues then the week or two of international lag problems and of course the rocket boots significant progress was made. There are so many little things that can go wrong especially in the 10 man version where there is 0 tolerance for mistakes. It can be a very frustration fight; I think at one stage Edwina thought we probably should have a defibrillator on hand for phase 3 :P.
4.1 should land tonight and a lot of the pain will probably be removed for the 10 man version. Those electrocute / tail slap combos shouldn't be an issue and maybe a crackle in P2 will be easier. 4.1 also brings lots of fun stuff like guild challenges and new troll 5 mans! Looking forward to some new things to do. I am also looking forward to getting Al'akir in a week or two and settling into some hard modes before 4.2 and Firelands!
