The news is a couple of weeks old but its still worthy of mention; We knocked over Al'akir and earned our titles and mounts. Al'akir was an interesting fight. Painful, fun, challenging and easy all at the same time. It didn't take long to master (~2hrs) so from that point of view its easier than things like Council, Cho and Nef but I think if it was tuned to be harder it could be extremely painful; so I am glad its not.
With that finally out of the way its time to focus on making sure people have the gear they need from normals and of course heroic modes. Halfus is already under our belt so really the next targets lay in BWD. Already we have Maloriak to phase 2 and I feel we should take him down on Monday. After that its a matter of working them through 1 by 1 and being as progressed as possible before 4.2 and Firelands!
It might also be time to start looking at the achieves we can get while we are doing the normal modes also just to keep things interesting. As heroic gear starts to flow in it should make this easier.
Congratulations All! Not bad work for a small team raiding only one day a week. From my perspective I appreciate everyone's commitment to the concept of how we raid. Nearly everyone has gone to some significant length to make sure they can be there every Monday. Its what makes it work and will continue to make it work!
