Our first run into Firelands was quite successful; Beth'tilac killed, reputation for fancy new cloaks and good trash loot to appease the hunter gods. All this in spite of server restarts, "that feral druid" and fail tanks multi-taunting spinners.
Blizz promised Firelands would have an epic feel about it and so far I think they have done very well. Admittedly we have only dipped our toes in but it does feel like we are assaulting the Firelord's domain instead of just crawling down corridors until we get to the next boss. The outdoor zone with the big citadel in the background gives it a great feel.
I also enjoyed the Beth'tilac fight as its a bit different. A bit buggy but still pretty good for the first week.It was perhaps a little under-tuned given healers can blow 40% of their mana in 3 sec and still keep the feral druid up ;).
