After some close wipes last week Valiona and Theralion went down pretty easy last night giving us some time to work on the Twilight Ascendant Council. After some early success we quickly realised the fight didn't begin until 25%. It also became obvious just how important it is to do everything right in the first 75% specifically getting both mobs to 25% at the same time in phases 1 & 2.
After several heartbreaking wipes @ 3-5% fatigue set in and we had to allow them to live this week. However I believe we deserved to get them and next week, with a few tweaks to the strat and DPS, we will bring them down. Mostly I was impressed with how positive everyone was! After early success and many sub 5% attempts its easy to get frustrated yet after the raid (and during it) everyone was very positive and focused on how we can do better next week!
As I said during the raid - regardless of the fact we didn't get loot for them it was great work on Council. I expect we could be killing Cho'gall this coming reset and ticking off BoT (on normal at least). Great Stuff!
